Ik heb problemen met het kalibreren van een kompasje, het gaat om een HM6343, een tilt compensated compass.
Het probleem van het kalibreren is dat het niet precies genoeg is, er blijft altijd vijf tot tien graden verschil in zitten. Toen ik hem kreeg zat er +- 100 graden verschil in dus de kalibratie haalt wel wat uit.
In de datasheet staat dit:
"After entering the calibration mode, rotate the device reasonably steady for 360 degrees about the Y (left-right) axis and then 360 degees about Z (Up-Down) axis. During the first rotation, maintain the Y axis at level as much as possible. Maintain the Z axis upright as much as possible during the second rotaion and until the exit xommand is issued. The first ratation can also be done by rotating 360 degrees about X (Fore-Aft) axis. Then exit calibration"
Wat ik hieruit begrepen heb is: Start kalibratie, draai hem één keer over de kop, en daarna één keer rond terwijl hij plat op tafel ligt.
Waarom werkt het toch niet?
